Activities
The Association functions as a support organisation for people with MND, their carers and families. Our work entails the co-ordination of home-care services and facilities, information service, financial assistance for home nursing or care and the supply of specialised equipment and aids on loan to patients.
We also support research into the causes and treatment of MND and fund a liaison nurse who helps to co-ordinate patient services.
Our aims and objectives are to endeavour to support all those people directly or indirectly affected by MND. We not only offer financial assistance for care but also provide essential information and communication services of help and advice for people with MND and their carers.
