Dear Friends in the ALS/MND Struggle,
I have now been living with this damn disease for more than 12 years. What has helped me living all those years is the following:
First, I have decided to live every moment rather than do as the government would like me to – which is just survive. There is a big difference between living and surviving.
Second, I use humor very often, in all parts of my life. That helps me see things from a new angle and gets me out of the dark times sooner.
Third, I spend as much time with my friends and family as possible. I need a lot of help, but I use every opportunity to help others as much as I can.
Like so many of us, I was sentenced to death, but the way I see it, I was sentenced to life. It is so much more fun that way 🙂
Enjoy every moment of your life. Joining the Alliance is one way of improving all of our lives.
