ALS/MND Without Borders

Aims and Focus of the 2015 Campaign

Every day, members of the Alliance work together to improve the quality of life and care available to people with ALS/MND worldwide.

ALS/MND affects people regardless of age, race, gender, nationality, ethnicity or economic status. ALS/MND has no borders… and neither should we!

The 2015 Global Day campaign ALS/MND Without Borders will highlight the ways our members work together across all boundaries to support people living with ALS/MND.

Through our ALS/MND Without Borders campaign, we will show the world that Alliance members are united in the global fight against ALS/MND, and that we work as a global team.

During the campaign, we will use the hashtag #ALSMNDWithoutBorders to spread messages of awareness, hope and collaboration.

Objectives

  1. To engage members and create solidarity in the ALS/MND community through a coordinated Global Day campaign.
  2. To encourage donations to member organisations and the Alliance.
  3. To promote partnerships between members, international research collaborations and the work of the Alliance’s partnership and mentorship programme.
  4. To create and share key messages that raise ALS/MND awareness worldwide.

How Members Can Get Involved

Incorporate the ALS/MND Without Borders theme into your organization’s planned activities for Global Day!

Be a part of our social media campaign by following the Alliance on Twitter and Facebook.

Feel free to add your own association’s logo to these images.

On and around 21 June, share our messages and compose your own using the hashtag #ALSMNDWithoutBorders. Talk about the ways your organisation collaborates across borders to bring hope to people living with ALS/MND. Don’t forget to tag @alsmndalliance on Twitter!

Tell us about the partnerships you have built across borders so that we can share your stories of hope and collaboration.
